With an incredible panoramic view of Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones from its terrace, surrounded by a natural reserve, Villa Mango B&B offers comfortable rooms with private bath, and has its own private pool. The house was built in the 70´s and you will appreciate its rich woodwork, old-fashioned tiles, heavy thick walls and a roof structure, which ensure a cool house all day long. Some rooms have air-conditioning and/or fans. It has a character of its own, which will make you wish you could stay forever.

Your hosts, Jo and Agnes will prepare a copious breakfast with fresh exotic fruits, cereals, eggs, breads, and local cheese and, of course, a cup of steaming coffee or tea, and a glass of fresh fruit juice, and while enjoying it, you'll be able to not only appreciate the amazing and peaceful view, but also watch the humming-birds or discuss the day with the howler-monkeys.

Villa Mango also provides Internet access, laundry service, car rental, bicycles or ATV rentals, plane reservations for your trip from and to the main airports of San Jose or Liberia, tours, and much more. We will help you plan your day, whether you want it full of action or just relaxing. There are possibilities of to-go lunch, afternoon tea and/or dinner, with a day-notice and at additional costs.

Located in Costa Rica's beautiful Guanacaste province, in the Nicoya Peninsula, Nosara is approximately 100 miles west of San Jose, on the coastal road that connects Tamarindo to Samara. Explore on the jungle trails, surf in any of several world class breaks, swim in gentle coves, comb the beach for an infinite variety of shells, play in fisherman's paradise, relax in a hammock surrounded by tropical jungle where monkeys play in the trees and parrots, toucans, wild orchids, bromeliads and other exotic plants and wildlife abound.

Playa Guiones, only minutes away, is a favorite spot for surfers and you can even take classes from locals, who have been surfing well before this beach became popular.

Playa Pelada, a short and beautiful ten-minute walk from the house is wilder, quasi deserted and will seduce you with its rock formations, shells, pelicans flying over you, privacy.

Take a horseback riding lesson or a ride through the jungle or on the beach at sunset.

Go sport fishing for half a day or the whole day! Or go snorkeling on a tour to see maritime life and maybe dolphins or whales!

Activities abound and you'll find out that you need time to rest too! What about a massage at Villa Mango? Or a Yoga class? Or relax while watching the amazing colors of the sunset from our large terrace.

You will get to know people from many sorts of life, and it is not uncommon for all our guests to gather on the terrace to chat, while enjoying a drink from our honor bar. Our dinners will also charm you as we do it family style, encouraging conversations with other guests.

In the evening, there are many restaurants in the area, offering various foods, from local Tico fare to international cuisine, and bars with live music. On weekends, try your skills at dancing salsa and merengue at the local disco after having taken a couple of lessons with your hosts Jo and Agnes.
